The spreads come from the Vaux house, a traditional family charcuterie based in Sarlat, in the heart of Périgord Noir, which has also decided to make some vegan products cooked in Périgord.
The Périgord chilli pepper mustard comes from one of the three last French mustard makers who chose to settle in the small village of Thonac in the heart of Périgord Noir and who also cultivates their own chili peppers to complement their mustards.
Château Le Raz is a small 70 hectare estate which stretches over the slopes of the Dordogne, in Saint-Méard de Gurçon (about 30km from Bergerac). This blend of Merlot and Malbec with its aromas of red fruits, its well coated, slightly spicy tannins will enhance these vegetable spreads.
