"La Casse-croûte Box" is composed of 100% duck rillettes (180g), 100% goose rillettes (180g), a pork pâté with 20% duck foie gras nuggets (200g), and a bottle of Ter'raz red wine (75 cl), Château Le Raz, PGI Périgord.
Château Le Raz is a small 70 hectare estate which stretches over the slopes of the Dordogne, in Saint-Méard de Gurçon (about 30km from Bergerac). This blend of Merlot and Malbec with its aromas of red fruits, its well coated, slightly spicy tannins will go perfectly with the other products of the “snack” box.
The pâté and rillettes come from the Vaux house, a traditional family charcuterie based in Sarlat, in the heart of the Périgord noir. The manufacture is artisanal and the origin of the products is 100% South-West of France.
The toasts come from the last artisanal biscotterie in France, La Chanteracoise, which has been producing traditionally since the 1950s in the north of the Dordogne department, in Saint-Germain-du-Salembre. The plain toasts will go perfectly with the products to taste offered in this box.
